Violin Masterclass – Tasmin Little

We are thrilled to host the incredible multi-award winning violinist Tasmin Little CBE at Purcell for an unforgettable afternoon of masterclasses.

The repertoire covered will be Sibelius’s violin concerto, Vaughan Williams ‘The Lark Ascending’ and Tchaikovsky’s violin concerto.

Renowned violinist Tasmin Little CBE enjoyed over three decades of international success, performing with leading orchestras worldwide and receiving numerous awards, including a Classic BRIT Award and a Diapason d’Or. Notable for her innovative projects, she pioneered verbal introductions during performances and drew global attention with ‘The Naked Violin’ project. Little’s advocacy for music education led her to speak at the House of Commons and become Co-President of the Yehudi Menuhin School. Stepping down from the concert platform in 2020, she now focuses on broadcasting, mentoring, and charity work, holding a Certificate in Mentoring and Coaching from Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
