Lunchtime Recital at St Bride’s

St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street has held a series of free lunchtime concerts and recitals for over 30 years, supporting and promoting a diverse range of musicians.

Recitals take place most Tuesdays and Fridays at 1:15 pm in church (except during Holy Week, the week following Easter, August and December).

The series provides a vital performing opportunity both for music students who are at the beginning of their careers, and for established professionals wishing to expand their repertoire and try out new programmes.

This concert features two winners of the Purcell School String Sonata Competitions, Thomas and Mina.

York Bowen – Sonata for Clarinet and Piano
Rebecca Clarke – Sonata for Viola and Piano

Entrance is free (no booking required), with a retiring collection at the end.
