Purcell’s chamber musicians present a programme of 19th-century chamber music at the Barnes Music Festival on 19 March 2025 at 1PM, performing pieces by Schubert, Brahms and Walter Rabl’s rarely performed Quartet for clarinet, violin, cello and piano, which was awarded first prize by Brahms in a Viennese competition in 1896. 

Join us for a lovely afternoon of chamber music at St Mary’s Church, Barnes.

Barnes Music Festival in South West London is an annual celebration of music-making which includes choral, instrumental, orchestral, opera, jazz and film events featuring international stars, and local groups and schools performing at venues across Barnes.
