Glen Dempsey, Organ Scholar at the College and Chapel of St George, Windsor Castle for 2013/14, has been awarded a place at St John’s College, Cambridge, as Organ Scholar from 2015.
Glen was a pupil at The Purcell School from 2011-2013, where his place was supported by a Government Music and Dance Scheme Scholarship. While at Purcell, he was the Christopher Ross Scholar and studied organ with Anne Marsden Thomas, voice with Tom Marandola and piano with Alla Kravchenko. He was joint recipient of the School’s Arthur Felsenstein Leavers Award.
